About UsI am a mom-preneur focused on helping teach first-time, young or working mothers the art of motherhood. My background consists of extensive early childhood education experience including teaching in both a standard and special needs pre-school, teacher’s aide in an elementary school, math & computer specialist in an elementary school and computer instructor at an after-school children’s learning center.
As a teacher, I became accustomed to having lesson plans to follow; however, as I started having my own children (I have four wonderful kids!), I wanted to use the same experiences and expectations that I had as a teacher. This inspired me to write a book entitled Minutes with Me, which was basically intended to provide lesson plans for mothers. Based on the positive feedback from my book and at the request of many of my readers, I have built an entire product line that is now offered through ShelliCheri.
There is literacy all around us, and the products offered by ShelliCheri have been carefully researched and built to maximize teaching moments with children, even when we are in the car with them. We are committed to offering quality and fun teaching aides and activities to assist mothers and other child caregivers in teaching children during their early childhood learning, which is the most important learning period of their lives.
